Studio Lodge arrives Spring 2010!!

Amarillo KOA is pleased to announce the newest addition to our cabin facilities ~ The Studio Lodge ~ so our guests can enjoy a more relaxing camping experience. The new Studio Lodge is the perfect choice for the KOA guest who is looking to upgrade from a Kabin. The Studio Lodge sleeps four, includes a full bath, refrigerator, microwave oven, flat screen TV and deck in which to enjoy our beautiful sunsets. Sorry, No Pets allowed in this unit. Book now, as this Lodge will be our most popular unit.

Awesome K-9 Pet Friendly Park

Amarillo KOA continues to receive rave reviews on our Pet Friendly K-9 Park.The dog park is furnished with several benches located under a covered shade area and several pieces of "doggie" playground equipment. Amarillo KOA is delighted to provide this outstanding feature for our canine campers! We have received 5 "paws up" for this K-9 feature!

Kowpoke Kafe Satifies Our Camping Guests Appetites

Amarillo KOA continutes their tradition of serving dinners nightly* from the Kowpoke Kafe (*seasonal). We invite our guests to kick back, relax, and enjoy their meals delivered directly to their site - and we do the cooking and the dishes - because you're on vacation!!!! (Off-season, we offer piping hot Pizzas delivered directly to your door)

New Restroom Facilities and 3 New Cabins a BIG Hit!!!!

Amarillo KOA has grown in a BIG way!! Our guests have truly enjoyed the addition of 3 new Camping Cabins and the new satelite restroom/shower facility. Our new facility provides "larger" showers/privacy areas. The new restroom building also features a "private" handicap accessible room.
In addition, our Recreation Room has received a "make-over" which now provides a more appealing setting to play games or relax. We welcome family reunions/groups.

Nightly Hay Wagon Rides

Amarillo KOA is pleased to announce the return of the ever popular "Jaden's Wagon" this summer. This custom constructed haywagon is named after our oldest grandson/employee, Jaden Tijerina.

Jaden invites all of our guests to enjoy a fun-filled hayride throughout the campground each night (weather permitting)May through mid-August. Whether you are young or young-at-heart, don't miss out on this unique campground event.

Cabin Bed Linens and TV Rentals Now Available

Amarillo KOA now offers Bed Linens and/or TV rentals for your Cabin experience. Bed Linens and TV's can be rented for a small fee for those guests who do not travel with these items.

If you are interested in this convenient service, please notify our staff that you will need these rental items at the time of your Kabin reservation. We have a limited supply - so call now!!

Horse Corral A Hit With Our Campers

Traveling with horses? We offer a 12'x 16' pipe corral with bow gate for your horses' comfort and safety. We also have running water there so you can easily water them after a long days journey. There is an $8 charge per horse and require a refundable cleaning deposit of $20 which will be returned when you clean up before you leave - so that the next horse has a clean place to stay. Please call ahead to check on availability and reserve the Horse Corral early.
